SWEA PARTY!

Tuesday night I hosted a tasting for the wonderful ladies in SWEA NY. http://www.swea.org/default.aspx?mid=1987

Thirty ladies and a couple of men were invited to one of the ladies in SWEAs beautiful apartment at Park Avenue to try Swedish whisky. The Whisky was served both nit, on the rocks and as a cocktail. SWEA have its own Mackmyra cocktail called Hamptons Chill Out. The host also served Swedish o'dourves. It was a great evening.

When we held the tasting at the Single malt club in Beijing we also made an interview with one of the guests and took the chance to film when Maggie, one of the owners, helped us translate a short presentation.

Day 4 and sum up for China

Back to a cold Sweden... 

Last week in China was a great experience. We met so many interesting people and companies, experienced so many cultural differentials and tried to understand the whisky market. I have actually more questions after than before the trip. It seems to be a very complex but interesting market.

The last day we spent in Shanghai. One of the meetings that day was with Stephan Notham, a great whisky connoisseur that is arranging the Whisky live expo in Shanghai. It was nice to meet him, he has a huge interest and curiosity for whisky and he seemed to be very interested of Mackmyra and our story.

After a few hours of sleep we left China for this time. 

It´s now time to sum up and plan the next step... Who knows, maybe China hasn’t seen its last Mackmyra yet...
