UNIQUE LABEL!

We must say that we've had an interesting journey towards our launch in the US, it has take a little longer than expected and why is that? 

US have another law regarding Single Malt Whisky comparing to Europe. The American law says that we can’t use Single Malt as a statement on the labels because we are not using 100 % virgin casks (none distillery can fulfill this today).

We are one of few distilleries in the world that use virgin casks at all (our Swedish oak). When the law was written, there were only distilleries in Scotland and Ireland (outside of US) and they received a exception.  That’s why our labels are different than in Europe, but it’s of course the same award-winning content.

Our labels in US says MACKMYRA SWEDISH WHISKY or as we call it, SWISKY :)
